Another major arcana card in my Tarot series. The Devil card is about being trapped by temptation, addiction, and unhealthy attachments that drain us and stifle growth.
I've been battling with the ethics of AI both as a teacher and as an artist. Maybe I'm old fashioned, but I'd rather just draw it with my own hands. Thankfully my students still seem to prefer to create their own stuff from scratch instead of leaning too hard on AI, but we talk a lot about how deadlines and stress make it tempting to use generative AI to spit out a solution "just this one time".
I originally planned to make a piece for this card entirely out of AI slop, but eventually ended up drawing it in my usual way because I'm (thankfully) still better than the machine. For now, anyway.

... and yes, I made sure to give the Devil 6 fingers on each hand.
