Recently I was approached by Applause App Inc. about doing an illustration of Paul Revere for the entrance to their Digital XChange 2018 conference in Boston, MA.
Here it is installed in the entryway to the Paul Revere hotel:
Living in Massachusetts made getting references images pretty easy. A colleague of mine was willing to dress up in her fife and drum gear so that I could snap some photos. Thanks for that, Sherrie.
The first version was mostly black and white and admittedly looked a little ghoulish. A second pass helped tweak Paul Revere so that he looked a bit more lively.
