It's that time of year again, when I do an assignment along with my students. This year I'm tasking kids with "art pushups" - they have to identify an area of weakness and work on it every day until they build their muscles. One of my big areas of weakness is working quickly - I'm such a detail maniac that most of my work takes days and days. To build my skills, I decided to bust out my iPad and my Apple Pencil and do a quick portrait every day. This set is of six of my colleagues.
